Action plan for reducing air pollution in Kabul approved
KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani chaired a Cabinet meeting that approved the action plan for reducing air pollution in capital Kabul, the Presidential Palace said on Thursday.
A statement from the Presidential Palace to Pajhwok Afghan News said that President Ghani at the yesterday evening Cabinet meeting once again stressed the protection of the republic government system and on time election.
He asked the Cabinet members and all government officials not to interfere in the election process and also inform their subordinators that those who violated the election rules would face justice.
Farid Ahmad Momand, president’s advisor in transportation affairs, presented the action plan for reducing air pollution in Kabul city to the meeting.
The Cabinet thanked Momand for preparing the plan and then approved it and ordered the organs and ministries concerned to implement the plan.
