Bishkek sends aid to Kyrgyz community in Pamir
KABUL (Pajhwok): Kyrgyzstan has sent humanitarian assistance to the Kyrgyz community living in Afghanistan
’s Pamir Mountains.
The aid included 12.5 tonnes of flour, 500 blankets, 100 boxes of detergents, 5 tonnes of rice, 1,250 litres of cooking oil and 10 boxes of medications.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Bishkek, the aid was delivered to the ethnic Kyrgyz community in Pamir.
The Central Asian country also dispatched humanitarian aid to the same community living in Tajikistan.
