Protesters throw red paint on Pakistan Embassy gate
KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of youth sprayed red paint on the main gate of the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul to symbolize blood in protest against recent artillery shelling in eastern Kunar province.
According to reports, at least 10 civilians suffered casualties in artillery shelling from across the border in Sarkano district and Asadabad, the provincial capital.
In a statement, the Hezb-e-Hambastagi civil society group said a number of its youth --- boys and girls --- rushed towards the main embassy gate of Pakistan
to protest the artillery shelling.
“The protesters sprayed red color on the main gate of Pakistan’s Embassy in reaction to the artillery shelling in which at least 20 civilians suffered casualties,” reads the statement.
They chanted slogans --- death to Pakistan’s ISI, the killing of innocent people is crime against our people, death to Pakistan’s stooge, we will avenge our people’s blood from Pakistan’s Afghan nationality servants, cut off Daesh and their supporting hands.”
They also torched large size photographs of Mualana Fazal Rahman, Prime Minister Imran Khan, ISI Director Faiz Hameed.
