Kabul Governor survives armed attack in Shakardara District

KABUL (Pajhwok): Kabul Governor Mohammad Yaqub Haidari survived an armed attack in the Shakardara district of central Kabul province, but a governor's bodyguard was killed in the incident, a reliable source said on Saturday.

Wishing not to be named in the report, the source told Pajhwok Afghan News that Kabul Governor Mohammad Yaqub Haidari was attacked by armed group  when he was on his way to Kabul from Shakardara district late on Saturday night.

It said, Governor has been saved but one of his bodyguards was killed in this incident. .

Pajhwok tried to talk with Kabul Police Headquarters, but they did not respond.
