2 killed, 6 injured in Badakhshan accident

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Two people were killed and six others injured in a traffic accident in northeastern Badakhshan province on Friday.

Police spokesman Sanaullah Rohani said the accident occurred in Yaftal Payan district at around 1pm.

The vehicle was carrying a patient to hospital, he said, adding that a woman and a child were killed and six others were injured in the incident.

The injured were taken to hospital and were now under treatment, he added, but did not say how the accident took place.
