KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): A delegation of Indian investigators will visit Kabul to probe a deadly attack on a Gurudwara here, says a media report.

The Gurdwara in the Shor Bazaar area of Kabul came under attack on March 25. At least 27 devotees were killed and several others wounded.

India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) would send a team to Afghanistaninfo-icon to look into the attack that was claimed by the Islamic State militant group.

Involving at least one Indian citizen from Kerala, the case was filed under Section 6(8) of the NIA Act, according to oneIndia.com – an online news portal.

Following an amendment to the act, the NIA can now investigate terrorist cases anywhere outside the country against Indian citizens.
