7 children injured in Paktia wall collapse

GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Seven children were injured when the wall of a house collapsed in this capital city of southeastern Paktia province on Friday.

Police spokesman Yusuf Hanif told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in second security district of Gardez at around noon in high-rise buildings area.

He said seven children, including four girls, were injured in the wall collapse incident which took place in a house where a wedding party was ongoing.

He said police evacuated the injured children to hospital and two children were said to be in critical condition.
