Sexagenarian Afghan migrant dies of Covid-19 in Greece

KABUL (Pajhwok): A sexagenarian Afghan migrant has lost his life to the coronavirus at a refugee camp in Greece, says a media report.

ANF News quoted Greek officials as saying the 61-year-old man from Afghanistan died at the Malakassa refugee camp. The camp has been quarantined since September.

Overcrowding was cited as a reason for the spread of the virus among camp dwellers. In the transitional camp, over 240 asylum seekers have tested positive for the virus.
