New Pak visa policy to resolve Afghans’ problems

Mansoor Khan hopes the new visa policy will help resolve the problems being faced by Afghans.
Ambassador Khan voiced this optimism at a meeting with Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said.
Atmar also hoped that during Khan’s tenure as Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan relationship between the neighbours would improve.
He thanked the envoy for Pakistan’s support to Afghanistan in different fields. particularly for the ongoing peace talks in Doha.
The ambassador said with the implementation of the new policy, Afghans would be provided with long-term visas. In addition, sick people would be offered visa on easy terms.
He added the new visa regime had been enforced by the Pakistan embassy and consulates and it will help resolve the current problems.
Atmar said the new visa regime would further consolidate and improve relations between the two countries.
He welcomed the current level of political will to improve the relationship between the two nations and termed it vita for the success of peace talks.
