1 child killed, 3 wounded in roof collapse

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A seven-year-old child has been killed and three others have been wounded as a result of a roof collapse in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Tuesday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Tralay area of Kot district on Monday evening.

He said the roof of Yaseen Khan’s room collapsed, resulting in the death of his seven-year-old son and injuries to three other children aged between two and five years.

The official added the Natural Disaster Management Department had been directed to assist the victims at the earliest possible.
