Samangan province spokesperson killed in accident

AIBAK (Pajhwok): Samangan province spokesperson has been killed in a traffic accident and his colleague injured, an official said on Friday.

Police Spokesperson Munir Rahimi told Pajhwok Afghan News Spokesperson Mohammad Sediq Azizi and his colleague Mohammad Naseer were on their way to home at around 11:00pm from a wedding party when the accident happened.

He said Azizi was killed in the accident while Mohammad Naseer, who worked at Revenue Department injured.

The reason behind the accident could not be ascertained as yet.

Azizi was a renowned journalist who in the past served in the Samangan National Radio Television and his last service as provincial spokesperson.
