4 security personnel killed in 2 incidents of violence

KABUL (Pajhwok): Four security personnel were killed as a result of magnetic bomb blast and gun attack in Kabul, an official said on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Ferdos Faramarz told Pajhwok Afghan News a police pick-up struck a magnetic bomb in Lab-i-Jar area in limits of 11^th police district at around 6:30am today’s morning.

He said two policemen were killed and a third wounded in the early morning blast.

According to Faramarz, unidentified gunmen shot dead two security personnel in Qala-i-Wazir area of 8^th police district on Tuesday evening.

He did no provide further details on the incident. There were no immediate claims of responsibilities for the two incidents.
