Gradual reopening of Prophet’s Mosque starts
KABUL (Pajhwok): Masjid-i-Nabawi -- the Prophet's Mosque
-- will gradually open to the public starting from today, The Arab News reported.
The reopening of the mosque in Madina is part of the Saudi kingdom's phased plan to ease coronavirus restrictions, the newspaper said on Sunday.
“Worshippers will be able to enter the mosque for congregational prayers, with a limit of 40 per cent capacity,” the state-run Saudia TV reported.
Riyadh has adopted precautionary measures for the safety of worshippers, who will be required to wear masks and practicr social distancing during group prayers.
