Google gaffe: Anushka is Rashid’s wife

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s ace spinner Rashid Khan is yet to tie the knot, but Google shows a married Indian actress as his spouse. 

If you look for Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan’s wife on Google, Anushka Sharma’s name and photos will pop up in the search bar, according to an Indian media outlet.

Sharma is Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s wife, but her name appears if you look for Rashid Khan’s spouse on Google. She married the top-order Indian batsman three years ago, India Today reported.

With Sharma expecting her first child, the Afghan leggie has not yet announced when he is going to get married. Google, however, shows him as a married man.

In an Instagram chat session with his fans in 2018, the spinner from Nangarhar was asked to name his favourite Bollywood actresses.

And pat cane the reply: Anushka Sharma and Preity Zinta. Google has since been showing Sharma as Khan’s wife.
